RETIRED BUT DEF NOT TIRED!

RPOAS 2026 Conference
In early April our secretary, Ricky Wood, attended the 79th Retired Police Officers Association Scotland (RPOAS), conference.
This was his third time attending the conference and as in previous years, he was made to feel very welcome. Ricky stated:

“It’s always a pleasure to reconnect with familiar faces throughout the day and at the evening event. I found this year’s conference particularly insightful, especially the discussions that took place during the workshops.”

Ricky addressed conference and provided an update on the charitable activities undertaken by the SPBF in the past year.

The RPOAS continue to show their support for the SPBF, as they and Care of Police Survivors (COPS), as per last year, were recipients of the proceeds from the evening raffle.
The SPBF expresses their gratitude to RPOAS for their continued support. The £500 donation will be put to valuable use in assisting serving and retired officers and staff when they need it most.
